About NMEFCU The Norfolk Municipal Employees Federal Credit Union of Norfolk was chartered in 1957 and has operated continuously in the City of Norfolk since its inception. The credit union's primary mission has been to serve the financial needs of employees of the City of Norfolk, and this mission continues to be the primary driving force behind the credit union today.
